This is a fascinating look into human physche in which Fareed Zakaria describes Ann Applebaum’s recent The Atlantic article “History Will Judge the Complicit”. She references Czeslaw Milosz’s book “The Captive Mind” to explain that dissent causes many internal conflicts while agreement (collaboration) is a breath of fresh air that makes life so much easier.
