At the Detroit Auto Show in January 2019 General Motors Announced the Cadillac would spearhead it electrification efforts.
In this announcement Cadillac said their EV’s will be both affordable and sold globally.
The video shows an expandable “skateboard” platform in which flat pack batteries are connected together is segments under the floor. This skateboard EV platform will be used for sedans, SUV’s and even pickup trucks in the very near future.

This is really exciting. Telsa is doing well… well, they are staying afloat and if GM really starts pushing this, the volumes will increase and the prices will decrease. I can’t wait for the all electric Cadillac SUV
